GUIDE FOR AUTHORS

Journal of Combustion Science and Technology (ISSN: 1006-8740) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal publishing original research, reviews, case studies, and technical notes across science, technology, engineering, business, and related fields.

1 Types of Manuscripts Accepted

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Case Studies
  • Short Communications
  • Technical Notes
  • Conference Papers (on prior approval)

2 Submission Process

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in MS Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  • Email your manuscript to:
    • editor@jstbusinessjournal.org (example placeholder)
  • In your email, include:
    • Title of the manuscript
    • Names and affiliations of all authors
    • Corresponding author’s contact details

3 Manuscript Preparation

Formatting:

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Include page numbers on all pages.
  • Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English.

Structure:

  1. Title Page
    • Title of the paper
    • Author(s) name(s) with affiliations
    • Corresponding author’s email and phone
  2. Abstract (150-250 words)
    • Briefly state the objective, methods, results, and conclusion.
  3. Keywords (3-6)
  4. Introduction
  5. Materials and Methods
  6. Results
  7. Discussion
  8. Conclusion
  9. Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  10. References (APA/IEEE/Harvard style – choose one consistently)

Tables and Figures:

  • Number and title all tables and figures clearly.
  • Submit figures in high-resolution (300 dpi minimum).
  • Embed figures/tables within the manuscript near the relevant text and also attach separately if needed.

5 Ethical Guidelines

  • Authors must ensure their work is original and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Studies involving humans/animals should comply with ethical standards; appropriate approvals should be stated in the manuscript.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for any copyrighted materials.
